I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in a great location. It was situated close to the historic city center but still very quiet, which was ideal. The hotel is directly opposite the old city walls, providing a beautiful view. It is also conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to access restaurants and shops. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided good service. The rooms were clean and had basic amenities, including a shower. I particularly liked the fact that my room had a balcony, which added an extra touch to my stay. Lastly, the breakfast provided was satisfactory.
All in all, my stay at the hotel was satisfactory and I couldn't find any major issues.

The Hotel San Paolo in Ferrara pleasantly surprised me with its affordability and comfortable accommodations. The spacious rooms were equipped with excellent AC, and the staff was friendly and helpful, even assisting with luggage. The hotel's convenient location, just a short walk from the town center, was a major plus. Additionally, the breakfast provided was sufficient, adding to the overall great experience.
Can't fault the property in any way.

The hotel was relaxed and clean. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was near the areas of interest. The rooms we were given were exactly as we had requested - quiet and with the right combination of beds - the hotel staff had bothered to read our requests(which is more than some do).
It would have been good if the room we were in had included a desk of some sort to write at or a comfy chair.

Luigi and his team, one and all great. Also the location is spot on, close enough to the centre of Ferarra but away from any undue noise.

close to the city centre, walking distance to the piazza and lots of other attractions
over priced for a 3 star hotel, and it was very annoying to pay up front on the first day of arrival when I was checking in, I will not stay at the Hotel San Paolo next time I visit Ferrara

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was ideal as it was very close to everything - directly opposite the old city walls and just a short walk to the city centre, restaurants, and shops. The hotel facilities were great, with the possibility of renting bikes and having polite staff to help me out. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, with clean towels provided every day.
Nothing not to love.

Room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations.
Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options and stale bread. The lack of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable on warmer nights.
